In the summer of 2017, the archival collection of EEC’s drafts (including some of his notes) expanded. Carole Walton, a long supporter of the humanities at Saint Mary’s College, Notre Dame, generously provided funds to acquire 200 sheets, and Saint Mary’s College provided an internal grant to David Carroll and Aaron Moe to improve upon the previous interface here on WordPress. Michael Webster has also contributed time and energy in sharing additional sheets of EEC’s drafts all of which have enriched the site. We are extremely thankful for these funds and the collaboration which has led to the next stage of the Cummings Archive project.
We are also thankful for the permission received from the Trustees for the E. E. Cummings Trust, Liveright Publishing Corporation, and the Houghton Library, Harvard University to circulate images from the archives in online spaces.
